Anyone issued with a violence restraining order will automatically be barred from owning a gun in a major new addition to the Cook Government’s rewrite of WA’s Firearms Act.
And all violent thugs who are convicted of a serious offence — including those who target their spouses — face long firearms bans in a crackdown designed to protect the community from repeat offenders.
